God’s Got This

God’s got this, whatever it is.

I’ve been asked to pray for a lot of people this week that needed to hear & believe this exact thing.

Their “whatever’s” are hard & painful to go through.

•relationships are breaking around them
•seasons are shifting and change is hard
•children are falling away from God
•they’re having to accept responsibilities they didn’t see coming
•they’re overwhelmed and battling with depression & anxiety
•family members are sick, and they’re feeling hopeless
•they’re in a constant battle with chronic illness and it’s exhausting

And so many more.

In these struggles and painful situations, it’s hard to say God’s got this. But He does.

You keep track of all my sorrows. You have collected all my tears in your bottle. You have recorded each one in your book. -Psalm 56:8

The truth is He knows our pain and He cares. I pray that that fact alone brings you comfort.

BUT what if we went a step further.

What if when we say God’s got this, we remembered that He is also working it to our good.

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. -Romans 8:28

That’s a bit more complicated to believe sometimes, but it is true. One of those situations is my own above. I’ve shed tears. I’ve asked God why. And now I’m at the point of full surrender. I’m believing that He’s got this, that He is with me in this, and that He is working it to my good because I love Him.

Today I want to encourage you that God’s got this, whatever it is for YOU, He’s got it. Rest in that fact, give Him whatever it is, and find hope, peace, and comfort in Him and Him alone.

💜, Jen
