A Bit of Bible & A Bit of Prayer

Proverbs 12:18

A Bit of Bible:

The words of the reckless pierce like swords, but the tongue of the wise brings healing.

Proverbs 12:18 NIV

A Bit of Prayer:

Father,

I do not want to be like some others, who use their words like sharp swords, cutting and wounding the people around them. I do not want to spread lies, rumors, or gossip. I pray that my words would be healing, not hurting. I want to speak words that are seasoned with salt and full of grace. Words that give life, not take it. I want my words to be filled with truth and light. I know that this will take self-control and obedience on my part. I pray that You would renew my mind, strengthen my spirit, and help me live out Proverbs 12:18 in my life. Father, use me to speak soothing words of kindness and comfort. Use me to speak uplifting words of encouragement. Use me to speak words of love and peace.

In Jesus Name,

Amen

  1. Good day! I know this is kind of off topic but I was wondering which blog platform are you using for this site?
I’m getting tired of WordPress because I’ve had problems with hackers and
I’m looking at alternatives for another platform. I would be great if you could point me in the direction of a good platform.

  2. Woah! I’m really enjoying the template/theme
of this website. It’s simple, yet effective. A lot of
times it’s tough to get that “perfect balance” between superb
usability and appearance. I must say you have done a great job with this.
Additionally, the blog loads super fast for me on Safari.

    Outstanding Blog!
