A Bit of Bible & A Bit of Prayer

Matthew 6:34

A Bit of Bible:

Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

Matthew 6:34

A Bit of Prayer:

Father,

Sometimes I become exhausted, weary, and overwhelmed with worry, stress, and anxiety for the future. I pray Matthew 6:34 over my life. I do not want to worry or be anxious about tomorrow, but instead I want to place my trust in You entirely each and everyday. Father, help me remember in times of need that You have always been faithful to provide in any and every situation or challenge. Help me remember that Your plans are to prosper me, and never to harm me. Father, teach me to meet each days troubles as they come with grace, wisdom, knowledge, and understanding. I know Your grace is sufficient. You will help me overcome whatever this life may bring my way. You are so good to me, and I find peace and hope in knowing You will never abandon me. There is no need to worry about tomorrow, I know You will meet me there.

In Jesus Name,
Amen

  1. This is beautiful and yet so powerful!! I truly needed to read this right now in my life. Thank you for sharing

  2. Perfect! I am a constant worrier, I am not sure how I got this awful trait, but it is exhausting. I will try to read this every day at least once. Thanks so much for putting this together. Wishing you a healthy and blessed New Year.

      1. Thank you. Life becomes so jumbled at times that I think we stray from our religion and our Bible. And the Bible is so important and you seem to bring out the most important things that I need to look at. I am trying to be more “mindful” of what comes out of my mouth & and to my head. Thank you again for your great blog.
