Praise + Gratitude = Joy & Happiness

Day 13: Psalm 105:1-3

O give thanks to the Lord, call upon His name; Make known His deeds among the people.

Sing to Him, sing praises to Him;

Speak of all His wonderful acts and devoutly praise them.

Glory in His holy name;

Let the hearts of those who seek and require the Lord [as their most essential need] rejoice.

The Lord is so faithful. He is mighty, He is good, and He is gracious. I’m so thankful that I can call on Him any time and anywhere! I can seek Him out as often as I need. 

I call on His strength all the time, I seek Him in prayer, and I love to sing His praises through worship! I’m so very thankful for all the praise reports He has blessed me with! God is so good!

He is my most essential need! 

Psalm 105:2 reminds us that we should meditate on and talk of all His marvelous deeds and devoutly praise them. I love this verse because it encourages us to recall all the good things God has done in our lives and share them to encourage others. 

I need these reminders, because I honestly don’t do this enough. I get so focused on today and the future, I forget to remain thankful for ALL the good things He’s already done. 

While I’m being totally honest I probably don’t seize every opportunity to testify His goodness within my life as an encouragement to others.

I want to encourage you to reminisce on a few of the praise reports in your past. Take time to meditate and reflect on those good memories.
